Mercedes-Benz currently holds a vacancy for a Parts Picker Packer Storeman reporting to the Parts Manager. The person in this position will be responsible for unpacking and storing in the correct bin location incoming parts, and to pick parts against correct documentation for delivery
Job Description
Receive, unpack, check and bin all incoming stock
Update bin locations as per company specifications and standards
Pick all parts against a computerized invoice (unless otherwise stated) and hand to appropriate authorized person
Examine and ensure all outgoing parts are free from damage before handing over to appropriate person
Maintain and keep warehouse clean and tidy at all times
Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts
Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
Ensure dress code and personal hygiene is according to company standards
Be willing to work overtime during Stocktaking
Specific Role Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, check and bin all incoming stock
Ensure that parts are free from damage and that the part number and label are correct before binning
Ensure Admin department receives all relevant documentation with signatures
Ensure accuracy of binning
Ensure accuracy of picking
Adhere to all safety and security Policies set out by the Company
Area Warehouse knowledge experience will be an advantage
Computer literacy is essential
