Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with specifications Ensure clarity with regard to production programme. Monitor production continuously throughout shift and take immediate action where non-conformances exist Daily analysis and action on down-time causes. Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of downtime related problems Daily analysis of spoilage and HFI trends and take action to rectify Ensure QA systems and procedures are adhered to. Investigate causes of all customer complaints and ensure corrective action is taken. Conduct regular check on spoilage to analyse and investigate root causes and implement corrective action Review maintenance plan and ensure implementation of planned maintenance Monitor shift personnel’s conformance to their respective duties, responsibilities, company rules and regulations. Formal application of disciplinary procedure to final warning. Conduct performance appraisals for shift personnel. General liaison with Manufacturing Manager on all issues pertaining to shift / production. Plan and authorise leave for shift personnel.
