SOLINK is looking for a young engineering intern with a passion for renewable energy to join our team in Black River Park, Observatory, Cape Town on a 3-month contract from the 1st of June 2022. What is in it for you: Physical Requirements:
Job Summary
• Exposure to the embedded and distributed solar PV and energy storage markets in South Africa
• Introduction to tools and processes used in the RE market
• Start networking in the RSA renewable energy space
• Own Transport
• Own Laptop
• Reside in Cape Town or immediate surrounds
• Committed to a minimum of 2 days work per week
• Solar PV site yield assessments
• Embedded generation licensing support
• Site tariff analysis
• Energy market research
• Review of solar energy companies
• Document editing and control
• Procurement/ tender support
• Required BSc Engineering Degree (or Similar)
• Beneficial
o Autocad LT exposure
o Electrical background or experience
o Experience with google workplace (docs, sheets, slides)
o Current Masters and PhD students looking for part-time work
